Meet the Performing Artists Thur, March 28

the devil (of the Familiarz)
Who are the Familiarz?  An inclusive group of artists forging a modern social movement against Floxinoxinihilipilification: (the act of appraising anything as worthless) comprised of Daniel Lee Webster, songer/singwriter, and Andrew "the devil" Reynolds, percussionist extraordinaire.

Abby Miracle
Abby Miracle (age 20) is a singer/songwriter from the small town of Opelika, Alabama. Abby has been singing in front of crowds since age 6, and hasn't stopped since. Abby has been logging song ideas, lyrics and melodies since about age 10. At age 15, she purchased her first ukulele and fell in love. Knowing how to play an instrument, the songwriting possibilities then seemed endless to Abby. She started taking songwriting instruction from award winning folk songwriter, Dave Potts, summer of 2014. Later that summer, Abby finally picked up the guitar and started taking lessons; because she, as her teacher said "needed to step up to 6 strings". In spring of 2015, she released her first full length album of all original music, "Colorful". The era of this record included love songs, flower crowns, catchy melodies, ukuleles and everything tie dye/rainbow. In the current era, some of the best trademarks of Abby Miracle remain. Miracle still wears flower crowns while playing some shows, her hair has taken on the "Colorful" trademark, she still writes catchy melodies, and she is very rarely found without a ukulele on hand.

Ted McVay
Ted McVay, (old), started writing songs about 5 years ago, and in 2017 he released his first album, "Voices in My Head." He has played in open mics and songwriter rounds, and some of his songs have been featured on radio programs. His music varies in genre, but he hopes that each one will find a listener to connect with on a personal level.

Karaleigh Hays

Karaleigh is a singer/songwriter from Auburn, AL.  She has been primarily singing her entire life as well as songwriting for the past 5 years, mainly in a combination of soft pop/rock and R&B/soul styles.  She is extremely inspired by artists like Hiatus Kaiyote, Tori Kelly, John Mayer, and Ariana Grande.  With the release of High IN the Clouds, her debut collaborative EP with Nathan McKay, she'll also be putting out a single this month entitled "Inspire Me".

Bronson Lubresky
Rhythm and melody influenced by the beauty of the universe.

Alex Traylor
Alex Traylor is a singer-songwriter from Fort Payne, Alabama and has played guitar in several bands and performed at open mic nights and cafes in Nashville. He is rooted in folk and indie rock.
